“Ricardo is the CEO for Silah Gulf, a premium, multi-award winning customer experience solutions provider headquartered in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Silah was launched in 2009 as a Joint Venture in the Middle East region by UK based Merchants (Dimension Data) and Bahrain’s eGovernment Authority and has operations in Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
As CEO, Ricardo is responsible for formulating and driving Silah’s long-term strategies, managing the annual business performance, interacting with clients, employees, partners and investors, as well as setting the tone for the company’s values, ethics and culture. Ricardo is the key driver in transforming Silah to become the partner of choice for premium Customer Experience and Business Process Outsourcing Solutions in the Gulf.
Prior to Silah, Ricardo Langwieder-Görner has worked for leading blue chip companies such as Stream Global Service, EXL Services and Royal Philips Electronics. In his earlier roles he has been the Vice President and Head for Business Development, CRM and Marketing at EXL Service Holding, heading the Growths efforts in Continental Europe and also headed Business Development and Operations in EMEA for Stream Global Services (Convergys). Before his role at Stream, Ricardo served in various senior Service, Marketing and Operations roles at Royal Philips Electronics, where he headed strategic customer experience, sourcing and call centre programs, and operations globally.
Ricardo, is a proven industry leader, with over 20 years of global business experience and in-depth understanding of the Outsourcing and Customer Experience market trends and growth paradigms. He has extensive expertise in leadership, big ticket growth, strategy management, business processes outsourcing, business transformation, customer experience and shared services. Ricardo is a leading advocate and trusted industry advisor and speaker, and has earned various awards and leadership positions in prominent industry organizations and conferences.
Ricardo holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from The American University in Cairo, and an Executive MBA from Strathclyde Business School. He is also a Certified Commercial Pilot & Instructor, Certified Customer Relationship Manager, Certified Marketing Management Professional, and a Certified Lean 6σ Black Belt.
He has lived and worked in Europe, South America, the US, Asia, Middle East and Africa.”
